Bar Products Training and Tour Hosted by Eaton Steel

Eaton Steel Bar Company will host a dinner at Dick O’Dows on September 13, 2022. The training session will be held at Eaton Steel’s corporate site in Oak Park, Michigan, on September 14, 2022. Participants will receive an introduction to Special Bar Quality (SBQ) steels along with an understanding of terminology and applications of hot rolled and cold finished bar. The mill tours will take place on September 14 as well, and participants will visit the cold drawn bar mill (Hercules Drawn Steel) in Livonia, Michigan, the quench and temper heat treat operation (Apollo Heat Treat) in Oak Park, Michigan, and finish at the A2LA and ISO 17025:2017 testing facility (Titan Metallurgy), where they perform testing and provide metallurgical support to customers.
