Margolis, M.D., Professor of Business, Medicine and Policy at the Margolis Center for Health Policy at Duke University. Dr. McClellan is at the center of the nation’s efforts to combat the pandemic and the author of a roadmap that details the steps needed for a comprehensive COVID-19 response and safe reopening of our country. He is former administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and former commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where he developed and implemented major reforms in health policy. 

Dr. McClellan will talk with us about the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines, how the rollout is being managed by the federal and various state governments. We will also discuss the efficacy of the vaccines now becoming available, who should get them and in what order, including essential workers in the metals industry, and what we can all do in the meantime to limit the spread of this virus.
